これまで憲法9条は、わたしたちの平和を支えてきました。 そして、“憲法改正のための国民投票法”が施行される2010年5月からは、今度は、わたしたち自身が、憲法9条とわたしたちの平和を支えていかなければいけないのです。 あなたの意志で、戦争をおことわり!
あなたとわたし、ひとりひとりの意思表示が必要です。
“わたしたちは、謹んで戦争を永久におことわりします”

In the past, the Article 9 of the Constitution has supported our peace in my country. And, since May 2010, when “the National Referendum Law for the Amendment of the Constitution” will go into effect, it is we who have to support our Article 9 and peace.
With your intention, let’s decline war!

テーマを立てた木村真紀葉さん、日本人で二十歳過ぎの彼女は少しあせっているようにみえました。 その理由は、バリアで守られている今が崩れてしまうかもしれないという不安の 元、「国民投票法施行」にありました。 そして、憲法9条を象徴することば「戦争・永久・放棄」　その内の「放棄」を、もう少し違う見方、こころと行動のあり方で捉え直すと「謹むなんじゃない?」というマエキタミヤコさんのつぶやき。このふたりからのキーワード（わたしの心に引っ掛かったことば）を軸に、リアリティ（現実感、真実性、迫真性）があり、等身大であることを意識して、このピースアドが導き出されました。ふたりに感謝します。

Ms. Makiha Kimura, who addressed this theme and is an ordinary Japanese girl in her early 20s, looked pressed for me. The reason of her concern is the implementation of the “National Referendum Law for the Amendment of the Constitution”, which has a potential to take off peaceful days around us, formerly protected by the Article 9 invisibly. 　And then I wondered the symbolic words of the Article 9, like “War”,” Forever”, and “Renounce.” As For “Renounce”, seeing the word in our mind and examining the action the word really means, Ms. Miyako Maekita suggested to me like that: “Doesn’t it mean ‘declining sincerely’ (Tsutsushimu)?”Based on the opinions of Makiha and Miyako, I developed the idea and finally reached in this Peace AD, with careful consideration of Reality (Sense for the real and credibility) and suitable way for Makiha’s life-size expression. Thanks to Makiha and Miyako.
